The System Information panel has always been a great way to get more information about your system, but in Windows 8 or Windows 10 you will have a hard time figuring out how to open it. Here’s how to do it.
First, you’ll need to right-click on the Start button and choose Run to bring up the Run dialog (of course).
And then you’ll need to type the following into the Run box:
Hit the Enter key, and you’ll immediate see the System Information panel.
You can also type msinfo32 into the Start Screen to bring up the Search, and then you’ll finally find it.
You can also right-click on it there and pin to the Start screen or taskbar if you choose.
You can also find the executable under the \Windows\System32 directory.
